What is BC PNP Tech Program?

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Tech Pilot was a specialized stream within the broader BC PNP program designed to attract and retain skilled tech workers in British Columbia, Canada. The BC PNP issues invitations on a weekly basis to qualified registrants who have a valid job offer in one of the 29 eligible occupations.

Job Offers Under The BC PNP Tech Must:

Be for one of the 29 eligible occupations under the BC PNP Tech.

Be at least one year in duration (365 days).

Have 120 calendar days remaining at the time of application.

For the BC PNP Tech the minimum duration of the job offer is 365 days, as opposed to the other BC PNP streams which require a job offer for an indeterminate duration. A job offer that is longer than a year will continue to be eligible for the Tech. The job offer must also be full-time and from an eligible employer in the province

REQUIREMENTS OF BC PNP TECH:

A valid job offer from an eligible tech employer in British Columbia.

The job offer must be for a tech-related occupation listed in the BC PNP’s designated tech occupations list.

A minimum of two years of relevant work experience in the tech occupation they have been offered.

Meet the language requirements specified by the BC PNP.

Demonstrate sufficient settlement funds to support themselves and their family members in Canada.

BC PNP TECH Application Process:

STEP-1 secure a valid job offer in any one of the 29 in-demand occupation.

STEP-2 create a profile on BC PNP’S online registration system- skills immigration registration system(SIRS).

STEP-3 receive a confirmation email and a registration score (based on the information you enter while creating your profile).

STEP-4 receive an ITA from BC PNP in the tech draws held every week.

TIMELINES:

Although your BC nomination will be processed in lesser than 2-3 months it month still take at least 6 months for your PR to be processed.
